MIS Srl is a logistics operator specializing in all typical integrated logistics operations in both the distribution and production sectors. Its primary focus is the door-to-door transport of products and raw materials for the steel and metallurgical industries, bulk materials, and industrial waste.
MIS has designed a specific ITU (intermodal transport unit) capable of loading coils and other finished or semi-finished products. These intermodal units are also capable of loading scrap iron and other metals, with the advantage of organizing a balanced transport chain and reducing the impact of empty kilometers, which are one of the key levers for reducing greenhouse gas emissions while using the same technology.

Terminals and ports are key elements of the modern supply chain. The MIS Group invests directly and through its subsidiaries in developing terminal capacity and creating an integrated network of infrastructure serving industry and the economic and business community.
MIS Srl is also a multimodal transport operator (MTO) offering independent rail transport solutions with open block trains to logistics service providers operating with their own containers, semi-trailers, swap bodies, and other types of intermodal units.
It was created to offer rail traction and shunting services essential to support the development of intermodal solutions in an effective and integrated manner. In December 2023, MIS Rail obtained safety certification from the ANSF.
MIS Service combines the skills and expertise developed over four decades to manage the technical maintenance of MIS Srl’s fleet of vehicles. The internal unit has 10 direct employees and three roadside assistance vehicles, operating 24/7.
