More than a year after the launch of the intermodal service between our terminal in Montirone (BS) and the CRO terminal in Rotterdam, the offer to connect one of the richest provinces in Italy with the markets of Northern Europe and the UK is consolidated. The solution offered by MIS – Magli Intermodal Service, as an independent MTO, which can also count on its direct presence at destination through MIS Netherlands, offers three regular departures in both directions with a loading capacity of 38 intermodal units (swap bodies, semi-trailers, tankers, and containers). Following recent tensions in the Red Sea and the resulting circumnavigation of large ships arriving from the Far East and India via the Cape of Good Hope, demand for transport through this strategic corridor is also growing. MIS, with its “Open Network” division, is already planning to double the frequency of service. Tensions at international crossings and the focus on transport solutions with a lower environmental impact find this offering the most effective and regular response possible.
